Crown of Dignity

The history of the church hat is rooted in dignity. When the majority of jobs available to women in the past were those of manual labor, a uniform became their daily attire. However, on Sundays, women would adorn their crowns with beautiful hats - hats that took time for which to save. The beauty of these hats, the value of these hats and the intricacies of these hat designs were simply representational of the dignity the women felt all along.
